 an I protect myself?\n\nIn the interactive INSIGHTS Skills Training "How t
 o deal with online discrimination and hate speech?" on Friday, November 10
 , 2023 from 9am-3pm, we will explore together with Karoline Wodara what ha
 te speech is, how we can act against it and protect ourselves. In particul
 ar, we will put an emphasis on practising counter strategies, legal aspect
 s and mental self-care. There will be a lot of emphasis on practice and in
 corporating individual experiences. The training serves as a follow-up to 
 the “BSE INSIGHTS Talk and Panel Discussion on Sexual Harassment and Pow
 er Abuse in Academia and the Economics Profession”.\n\nKaroline Wodara h
 as been working as a freelance trainer and workshop leader since 2019. She
  works nationwide for the Amadeu Antonio Foundation on the topic of "Count
 ering hate online".\n\nThe training is open for all post-docs and PhD cand
 idates, you receive 1 ECTS for participating.\n\n\n\nThe training takes pl
 ace at WZB Berlin Science Center, Reichpietschufer 50, 10785 Berlin in Ro
