DESCRIPTION:Press and media outlets are still some of the most important ch
 annels in science communication and hold a lot of potential for researcher
 s. But how to deal with the opportunities and challenges of interviews, ar
 ticles and press conferences? How to find the right language for the right
  medium? How to (re)act in interview situations with challenging questions
 ?\n\nWe are pleased to have won the journalist Lena Fiedler (Zeit/Zeit onl
 ine, DLF, FAZ etc.) who will conduct our practice-oriented workshop on “
 Meeting the press” to address these and more questions.\n\nThe training 
 is suitable for all BSoE post-docs and PhD students. You will receive 1ECT
 S for your participation.\n\nIn the hands-on course you will be trained fo
 r basic media communication & language, interview-situations and press con
 ference-participations.\n\nThe training takes place on October 25, 2024 9 
 a.m. – 3 p.m. WZB Berlin Science Center, Reichpietschufer 50, 10785 Berl
