SUMMARY:INSIGHTS Skills Training: Meeting the Press
DESCRIPTION:Brief and concise, clear and understandable, vivid and preferab
 ly entertaining – this is how scientists should present themselves on ca
 mera. But what makes research interesting for journalists? How can complex
  topics be explained simply and understandably? And how can one best conve
 y their core messages? All of this is the focus of this media training. Pa
 rticipants practice interviews on camera and receive structured feedback o
 n their performance.\n\nWe are pleased to have won the trainer and science
  journalist Monika Wimmer who will conduct our practice-oriented workshop 
 on “Meeting the press” to address these and more questions.\n\nThe tra
 ining is suitable for all BSoE post-docs and PhD students. You will receiv
 e 1ECTS for your participation.\n\nThe training takes place on May 16, 202
