SUMMARY:INSIGHTS Skills Training "Science Communication with AI"
DESCRIPTION:This course with Dr. Sascha Vogel (science42 and science birds)
  combines traditional methods of science communication with modern AI tech
 nologies to convey complex scientific content efficiently and comprehensib
 ly. Participants will learn how AI-supported tools such as language models
 , chat bots or image generators can be used to adapt scientific topics to 
 different target groups.\n\nIn addition to an introduction to technical an
 d ethical issues and the limitations of AI in science communication, the c
 ourse offers practical exercises in which participants can develop their o
 wn projects and directly apply the skills they have learnt. The aim is to 
 provide participants with a toolkit to make their communication more effec
 tive and innovative and to utilise new formats and media.\n\nThe training 
 is suitable for all BSoE PhD students and Postdocs. You will receive 1ECTS
  for your participation.\n\nThe training takes place on Friday, April 25, 
 2025 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. WZB Berlin Science Center, Reichpietschufer 50, 107
