 environmental policy face major challenges, among them limiting greenhouse
  gas emissions and mitigating local pollution externalities. While a numbe
 r of policy instruments are available, mitigation efforts can lead to an u
 nequal distribution of benefits and burdens.\n\nThe workshop “Effectiven
 ess and Distributional Impacts of Environmental Policy” will discuss cur
 rent research on environmental policy, with a focus on improving our under
 standing of the tradeoffs between their effectiveness and distributional i
 mpacts. The event is part of the INSIGHTS workshop series at the Berlin Sc
 hool of Economics (BSE).
