Berlin School of Economics Welcomes New Partner: The ROCKWOOL Foundation Berlin Institute for the Economy and the Future of Work (RFBerlin)

The Berlin School of Economics (BSoE) officially welcomes the ROCKWOOL Foundation Berlin Institute for the Economy and the Future of Work (RFBerlin) as a new partner institution. This collaboration marks a significant expansion of the BSoE's network, bringing a leading independent and international research institute into its academic fold. This partnership will foster new research opportunities and strengthen the BSoE's mission to train young researchers, to produce and to disseminate world-class economic knowledge.

RFBerlin conducts applied, data-driven research that is impartial, based on objective scientific principles and held to the highest standards of academic excellence. RFBerlin is funded by the ROCKWOOL Foundation, a self-financing and independent charitable foundation established in 1981 to support credible research for the benefit of society as a whole. RFBerlin operates within a broad international network. The research aims to inform public debate and provide the best possible foundation for policy decisions. Its researchers, leading experts from across Europe and beyond, conduct cutting-edge studies on topics such as the future of work and the economic effects of globalization. This new partnership with the BSoE will be instrumental in furthering this work, creating a fertile ground for collaboration between RFBerlin's research teams and the BSoE’s faculty and students.

The BSoE is grateful for this new addition to its network. The inclusion of RFBerlin broadens its collective intellectual resources and enhances its capacity to produce impactful economic research and education.

We extend our thanks to all our existing partner institutions for their ongoing commitment, which is essential to our success. The BSoE's partner institutions now include the European-University Viadrina, Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, University of Potsdam, European School of Management and Technology Berlin, Hertie School, RFBerlin, and the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung /WZB Berlin Social Science Center.

With the official addition of RFBerlin, the BSoE is better positioned than ever to contribute to the critical economic and social discussions of our time. We look forward to a productive and enduring partnership.
