Daniel S. Hamermesh

Daniel S. Hamermesh is Sue Killam Professor in the Foundations of Economics Emeritus at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and the Society of Labor Economists, a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), and Past President of the Society of Labor Economists and of the Midwest Economics Association. Fields of research: time use, labor demand, discrimination, social insurance programs (particularly unemployment insurance), and unusual applications of labor economics (to suicide, sleep and beauty)

Georg Nöldeke

Georg Nöldeke is professor of economics at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Basel. His research field is microeconomic theory with a focus on game theory and contract theory. He has published on topics like the efficiency of matching markets, the evolution of cooperation, and the incentive properties of option contracts in journals like Econometrica, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Economic Theory, and the Journal of Theoretical Biology
Georg Nöldeke studied at the University of Bonn, the University of California, Berkeley, and the London School of Economics. Before joining the University of Basel in 2006,  he has held positions as an assistant professor at Princeton University (1992-94), as associate (1994-97) and full (1999-2006) professor at the University of Bonn, and as a full professor at the University of Basel (1997-99). Larry Samuelson

Larry Samuelson is the A. Douglas Melamed Professor of Economics at Yale University. Samuelson earned his B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1974 and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois in 1978. He has served as a co-editor of Econometrica. the American Economic Review, and the American Economic Review: Insights, and the president of the Game Theory Society, and in various roles in the Econometric Society. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and the American Academy for the Arts and Sciences. More information

Fields of research: economic theory with a particular interest in game theory, evolutionary foundations of economic behavior, the theory of repeated games, and non-Bayesian models of behavior
