The Berlin School of Economics thanks ESMT Berlin for hosting this year's Welcome Event, which will take place at ESMT Berlin, Schlossplatz 1, 10178 Berlin (room tba), at 17:00. The event officially opens the academic year and is dedicated to introducing our new PhD Students, Research Associates and Faculty members.

• Welcome address by Roland Strausz, Professor of Economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Speaker of the Berlin School of Economics
• Keynote lecture by David T. Robinson, James and Gail Vander Weide Professor of Finance at Duke University and Distinguished Affiliate Professor at ESMT Berlin

A reception will follow the formal program.
