Maik Lachmann holds the Chair of Accounting and Management Control at Technische Universität Berlin. He obtained his PhD from the University of Münster and worked as an assistant professor for management control at TU Dortmund University. He was a visiting professor at the University of Florida and the University of Southern California, USA. His research focuses on behavioral accounting, performance measurement and fair value accounting. He has published in Accounting, Organizations and Society, Management Accounting Research and European Accounting Review, among others.
