Empirical Macroeconomics
My research interests are topics in empirical macroeconomics related to the interaction of economic inequality and aggregate outcomes. In my current projects, I look at wage and income inequality across regions, how access to housing influences people's mobility on the labor market, and the impact of unequal exposure to price shocks on populist voting. Zooming out, my work relates to the broader discussion on growing gaps between rural and urban areas on multiple economic and political dimensions.
