Labor Economics, Public Economics, Experimental Economics, Labor and Employment Relations
I'm a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH), soon joining the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) and the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. I earned my PhD in Quantitative Economics at Kiel University. My research lies in labor economics, labor and employment relations, and public economics, with a particular focus on combining experimental and quasi-experimental methods. My work covers unionization intentions, employer opposition to unions, valuation of non-wage job amenities, the cognitive consequences of war, remote work across time zones, and perceptions of inequality in life expectancy.
