Bundesbank President Dr. Joachim Nagel to Speak at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

On March 10, 2025, the Berlin School of Economics and the School of Business and Economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin will welcome Dr. Joachim Nagel, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank, for a keynote lecture followed by a moderated discussion. The event, held in German, will explore "Economic Policy Measures to Boost Growth in Germany."

About the Speaker:

Dr. Joachim Nagel

Dr. Joachim Nagel has been the President of the Deutsche Bundesbank since 2022 and is one of Germany’s most influential figures in economic and financial policy. He has played a key role in shaping debates on inflation control, interest rates, and financial stability within the Eurozone. Prior to his role at the Bundesbank, Dr. Nagel held leading positions at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), where he contributed to global financial policy coordination, and at KfW, where he worked on economic development and investment strategies. His extensive expertise in banking regulation, monetary policy, and financial markets makes him a highly sought-after voice on economic challenges in Germany and beyond.
