Twitter still is the most important social media channel for research communication. In the next INSIGHTS skills training, you will receive hands-on training on basic Twitter skills and learn more regarding the following questions:

• What’s the benefit of being on Twitter?
• How can I use Twitter for my own purposes without wasting too much energy?
• How can I improve my posts and my strategy on Twitter?
• How do I deal with the downsides of the medium? (trolls, shitstorms etc.)
• What about Elon? Should I leave and move to Mastodon or another social media?

The training will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2023
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
at WZB, Room B002/3, Reichpietschufer 50, 10785 Berlin
 
It is equally suitable for those with no or already some experience with Twitter. The training will be conducted by INSIGHTS member Max Peukert. To register for the training, please send a short email with your name, institution, program, and the level of your Twitter experience to maximilian.peukert@wzb.eu by February 12.
