Friedemann Gruner joined the Berlin School of Economics as a PhD student in fall 2020. He is a researcher in the working group of Economic Growth and Human Development at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC Berlin). His research focuses on the public economics of carbon dioxide removal policies.
Prior to joining the BSE, Friedemann studied Economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Toulouse School of Economics. He holds a MSc in Economics from HU Berlin and a BSc in International Economics from the University of Tuebingen.
