Friedemann Gruner joined the Berlin School of Economics as a PhD student in fall 2020. He is a researcher in the working group of Evidence for Climate Solutions at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). His research focuses on the public economics of carbon dioxide removal policies.
Prior to joining the BSoE, Friedemann studied Economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Toulouse School of Economics. He holds a MSc in Economics from HU Berlin and a BSc in International Economics from the University of Tuebingen.
