Marco Caliendo is Professor of Empirical Economics and Speaker of the Center for Economic Policy Analysis (CEPA) at the University of Potsdam. He holds a PhD from Goethe University Frankfurt and is Research Fellow of the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) in Bonn, the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) in Berlin, the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg, and the Rockwool Foundation Berlin (RFBerlin).
Marco is an applied microeconometrician and Co-Editor of Labour Economics. His current research interests include the evaluation of labor market policy, human capital investments, job search and unemployment dynamics, and the influence of personality traits on economic outcomes.
His work has been published in journals such as Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Human Resources, Research Policy, Journal of Public Economics, European Economic Review, Journal of Applied Econometrics and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization.
