The Berlin Network of Labor Market Research (BeNA) is proud to organize a conference to celebrate its 20th birthday! BeNA was launched in 2004 to provide a forum for young labor market researchers to present and discuss their work. From the beginning, it has been coordinated and organized by young scholars affiliated with institutions in and around Berlin. Since then, it has continuously expanded its activities, including seminars, lecture series, and workshops.

In this spirit, we are organizing a conference with the aim to bring together current and former BeNA members and all other scholars interested in labor economics. We plan to have three different formats at this conference: presentations of scientific papers, flash talks to present preliminary work, and practitioner’s talks.

The conference will take place on March 14-15 at HU Berlin, School of Business and Economics, Spandauer Str. 1. The Keynote will be delivered by Professor Abi Adams-Prassl (University of Oxford). In the evening of March 14th, we will celebrate the BeNA birthday party with a conference dinner. The event is supported by INSIGHTS, the knowledge transfer program of the Berlin School of Economics.
